Restaurant Carter was founded by Sam Carter, a passionate chef with a strong local reputation. Sam has lived and worked on the Lancashire Cumbria borders for nearly 15 years and can't imagine working - or living - anywhere else. 

Known for its amazing local produce and ingredients, the area has driven Sam's passion for food and creativity to new heights. His dream was to create a small, intimate restaurant where residents and visitors to the region could meet to enjoy special dishes and a comfortable atmosphere.
